Hypnosis for Medical Issues?

Yes!

Most are surprised to know that hypnosis is used to treat medical conditions. Yet, this is an area of ongoing research showing the benefits of hypnosis in conjunction with standard medical treatment.

**Please note** Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are not meant to replace standard or specialty medical treatment. I am happy to work in collaboration with your healthcare team to provide the best care for you.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

We know the efficacy of medical treatment for  IBS is limited. Hypnotherapy for IBS/IBD has been heavily studied in multiple medical centers and found to be effective.

Chronic Pain Reduction

Multiple studies have shown hypnosis reduces and in some cases even eliminates chronic pain, reduce the use of medications and allow individuals to improve their functional capabilities as well as their quality of life.

Sleep Hypnotherapy

According to the CDC, adults need 7 hours (or more) sleep each night for optimal health and well being. Unfortunately > 35% of adults do not meet that requirement.
